Richard Leinfellner
I have tuned on adaptive streaming and its making a bunch of files in the streams folder However I cant figure out how to play back a lower res stream I have tried adding _adaptive.m3u8 at the end of the stream name, but then it cant find it When I just have the stream name it keeps giving me the "connection too slow" despite being a single user on a 500Gb fibre link
0 Yash
Hi Richard, Hope you are doing well. Yes, it will create .ts files for each ABR that you have enabled. To play the particular bit rate stream you can play like for example http://domain_or_Ip:5080/LiveApp/streams/sreamId_720p.m3u8 Although we have added issue in our issue tracking system to play the ABR from the player itself. You can track it here https://github.com/ant-media/Ant-Media-Server/issues/3617 It gives network warning when viewer is not getting enough bandwidth to play the stream.
