Zale Schoenborn
Hi, Is there any way to implement the following cluster mode MCU scenario Deploy x# of origins in cluster mode with at least one ABR setting active Create X# MCU conference rooms ensure that there is only one conference room per origin. 0 Burak
Hi Zale, I think it is related to the load balancing. Can you create a load balancing rule to ensure that it maps all participants for a room to the same origin?

0 Burak
If you have more than 1 origin in your cluster setup behind the load balancer, and if load balancer distributes the load with Round Robin method, then participants in a room will be distributed to different origin servers. For now, to merge the streams of a room, all streams should be on the same instance. So to merge streams of a room, you should guarantee that all participants publish their streams to the same origin.
0 Zale Schoenborn
Hi Burak, The real question is not how to distribute the people to different origins through the load balancer but how do someone ensure each origin has a specific conference room assigned to it. Take the specific example of having four origins and four edges and you want to “create” four different conference rooms and ensure only one MCU conference room occurs on each of those origins. 0 Connessione
Sounds to me like a custom software is needed which will know the origin address of the conference by name or something, Then all incoming users will be sent to appropriate origin by conference I’d or name . Isn’t it ? Or is there a way to have load balancer do that ?
