Generate snapshots, clips and periodic thumbnails through ANT

I am using Ant Media Server enterprise edition trial version and Ubuntu 18.04

I want to

1. Generate snapshot, clips and periodic thumbnails of HLS live streaming.

2. Time lapse movie clips in mp4 and snapshots (continuous image) in JPEG.

I didn't found any API or feature for this. Which will be better any user script or plugin development to achieve this?

1. You can use ffmpeg to eg state continuous thumbnails. Maybe the new plugin architecture allows capturing video frames to images.

2. For processing mp4 in anyway ffmpeg is your best friend.
