Question

Hi

I'm trying to figure out, does AMS support of dash(cmaf) playing for rtmp streams?

I already installed and configured my own AMS and tested dash playing using webrtc as source  - all works fine with 4s delay as expected.

But with rtmp it can't play the source and in all docs/questions, people mention only webrtc as source.

So, the question in the title, is rtmp->dash streaming possible with AMS (and it's my misconfiguration that it doesn't work) or dash works only with webrtc?

Hi @xxddgert,

How are you?

Yes, you can publish with rtmp and play dash with AMS.

In case it's not working for you, please share your AMS web panel login credentials with me on support@antmedia.io and I can check the issue.
