Question

I hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend. We are trying to create an ecosystem where everyone is a part. That's why we are happy to publish your articles that developers will love, by specifying you as the author. Thousands of people a month can see these blog posts and get to know you. I also think it can create different opportunities for you. What do you think?

in my opinion it is better to allow people to highlight/show case their own blogs/blog posts on community pages (as other products do) to help the community grow. In that way community members as well as the community both can grow well. Writing own content on other sites/blogs means losing ownership of the content, which is not a nice thing. Once you write an article anywhere on the internet google will index it all the same and many people can access it anyways.

The idea of writing elsewhere other than your own site is only feasible if you don't own a site/blog/facebook page/gitbook/domain or if you are selling your skill as an content writer.

I agree you. Everyone is free to share their own product or thoughts here, and we would love to see it. But at the same time, I think it is a good opportunity for those who do not have enough audience and want to promote their knowledge or product. Blog posts will be published mentioning who the author is and the ownership will be the author's. The author will also be able to add links to her own social media accounts, platforms or websites of her/his choice. I think that these articles will create different opportunities and expand the writer's network.
