Question

Hello, guys!

I implementing some project, using Ant Media Server, and I want to use H.264 encoding on publisher side and client side with Community version of Ant Media and JS SDK you provided.

Can you please tell me, can I force using, for example H264 encoding for client publish if it's available? Whatever if it's in EE or Community version of the Ant Media Server

How does SDK choose, what codec to use in current WebRTC publish on client?

How can i check which codec are using in my current WebRTC published stream?

Hi Valery,

Ant Media Server accepts only H264 encoding. It doesnt accept if it is not sent in H264.

Hope this helps.

Hello, thanks for you responce!

As far as I can see, when i check webrtc connection with webrtc getstats API it's show me that on the browser side it's using VP9 or VP8 on video.
Does ant media server perform some reencoding for this, to serve hls clients?
