cluster mode configuration

hi was checking how to configure cluster:

 

1.- (1) server Origin

2.- (1) server Edge

3.- (1 server for MongoDb )

But is mustly for conferences so i guess i am going to need 2 Origin servers and 1 Edge?

as my web development was on other server then there i have to install HAproxy there and redirect to these serves.

 

is correct-?

How are you?

Actually in conference both publish and play happens on single web socket connection so there is no much significance of origin and edge distinction.

One needs to have all participants of one room on a single server.

Also in the new conference solution we have number of improvements and server side optimizations.

so best solution to incready capacity of conference should be replica? or replica works only if primary server is down?

Hi @robertosamayoa,

You can keep both nodes in origin as well as edge or either one of them and cluster will work for conference.

The new conference solution can divide the load on both nodes via load balancer.

Also I think ngnix load balancer is much easier to configure and control so you can consider using that.

And yes having more number of nodes in cluster will increase it's capacity to handle more load.

Sorry for the trouble.

Were you able to recover/reinstall the server?
We can also work together to complete the cluster.

i have to reinstall all server, recover didnt work to many new errors.

 

when i tried to install cluster and connect to mongodb not sure if working because cant log into web panel i saw blank page. server ip / cluster
