Using different audio sources with ant media sdk

Hey Everyone,

I just started with ant media server and am working on prototyping a new feature for our android app. Currently what I am trying to do is create a conference room created by one user to share an audio stream. This audio stream is real time and comes from another external device that the phone receives. This would be audio different than the phone's microphone. How would you do this using the ant media sdk? Thanks!

Could you please explain more about this transmission from external device to phone. Is it using hardware or using protocols like rtmp,rtsp etc.

Hi @rob

Then you can use stream source feature to pull rtp stream and directly publish it on Ant Media Server. You can check blog post below to get more information.

I am not seeing StreamFetcher.java in the android ant media sdk. Has the functionality been moved?

I believe these are server side things. StreamFetcher.java is probably not for android.
