Hi,

How are you?

It appears as the file that you are trying to upload is not exactly a MP4 file.

Can you please check the file information with ffmpeg to be sure?

Thank you

Hello Mohit, many thanks for your reply.

I've checked several times the format, you can see the attached screenshot. It should be correct, isn't it?

thanks again

Not checked with ffmpeg though, but I Guess that what I see in the screenshot should be enough, correct?

thanks again

Hi @tstvd00,

I think they are not same though they are used interchangeably at time.

MP4 is the digital container file and MPEG-4 is the standard for encoding the video content within MP4 files. The video content inside an MP4 file is encoded using the MPEG-4 standard.

MP4 is based on the MPEG-4 standard, which means that it can contain MPEG-4 encoded video and audio, as well as other codecs such as H.264 and AAC. MP4 is a type of file format that can contain MPEG-4 video, among other types of media.

So you can try with a MP4 file having H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec.

Thank you

Hello Mohit,

Please find attached the Export Settings I used when creating the video from Premier Pro.

I Guess the issue could be something else, correct? The format seems right

thank you

Hello Mohit I tried hundreds of tests but still nothing,

This is the AMS version

  • Community Edition 2.5.2 20230105_1947

Should I updated it in any way? This is the one I have been automatically linked to via Linode.

Thank you

@tstvd00 try this program. http://www.avanti.arrozcru.org/. Once you have set it up it uses ffmpeg executable go get you information on the media file. From your screenshots I have a few recommendations. Use baseline profile for h264, use lower resolution like FHD and audio bitrate will be 128. Export a media with these settings and let’s see if that works for you.

Now I am using Final Cut Pro and still I don't know what's the issue ...

are the attached Settings fine?

Is there a max limit of GB video that I can upload if I use a Linode shared CPU Nanode 1 GB

thanks for your help

Hello there, could you please help me, it's has been 1 week on this issue and still I can't upload anything on AMS.

I downloaded FFmpeg but to be honest it is not that easy to use it on the Mac ...I apparently have installed it but the Command line seems to not produce the results...

many thanks

Other easy way is to use VLC player. Play the media file in the player. Go to media codec information option from menu and see the audio and video codec and bitrate details. Compare that with any other mp4 file that does play through ant media server easily.

Hi @tstvd00,

Is it possible to get access to the file that you are using?

If you can share that with me through drive, I can quickly look into that.

Thank you.
