Question

Hi all,

I used ffmpeg to compress mp4 files and to upload them as VoD in AMS but they are still not recognized as MP4 and I get the same error message "only mp4 are allowed"

Could you please help me?

Thanks in advance

The message could be misleading. Please try creating smaller files and of lower resolution and see if that works.

1. There is no such memory usage limit.

2. the problem is that you have a special character in the name of the file please try removing the special char ie # and it uploaded just fine can you please create a git hub issue for this at https://github.com/ant-media/ Thank you .

I can't believe that this was the issue...zero information about it in the error message which was instead completely misleading. Many thanks for your help!

Could you please tell me what's the max size of the mp4 that can be upload? And how should I interpret those indicators? I don't know what to evaluate to understand when and if I need to upgrade.

Manyt thanks again!

P.s what is a git hub? What should I do?

I have created a new issue on github https://github.com/ant-media/Ant-Media-Server/issues/4967

this problem will soon be scheduled and fixed.

There is no such limit for max mp4 file size it all depends on how much storage you have.

Thanks a lot, concerning the storage, yes I am trying to understand how to interpret it, do you refer to the system disk here attached? is this indicator that I should check before upgrading?
