FYI.... You can get a year free use of Cloudfront here:  https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2014/05/08/aws-free-usage-tier-now-includes-amazon-cloudfront/

Wish I can get my community version running!!!

Wow! Thanks Selim
Is it also valid for the community version of Ant Media Server?

Yes.  Amazon Cloudfront works with the Community version.  I just configured my server.   Latency is around 10 seconds.

If anyone knows how to decrease the latency using the Community version,  I would appreciate it.  I can't afford the Enterprise version at this time.

Thanks,

Ray

Hi Ray

thank you for the information you shared.

I'd like to ask you a few questions:

1) but the 10 seconds of latency, do you have them from the AntMedia server or did you get them using the Aws Amazon CDN (Cloudfront)?

2) what latency times have you obtained from your AntMedia server before using Cloudfront?

3) is there an app or online website or service that allows you to measure the latency times of streaming server transmission from different continents?

My Best

The latency is from Ant Media server and not the CDN.
I am working on adding a clock to the player but it doesn't want to cooperate.

I am wonder if I can use <body onLoad="file.js";>  in the play.html file?

I am also wondering if there is a cache issue with the CDN config as I am not seeing changes I make to the play.html file?

Any idea?

Ray
