Webrtc Testing with transcoding? Is it supported yet?

Question

Hi,
I am very new to ant media and testing it out to achieve low latency (< 1s). I am testing webRTC and checked that latency was around 1sec and I want to test with different transcoders. Also since right now I am testing without transcoding How do I test with transcoding for RTMP or other protocols. Couldn't find it in proper documentation. Can someone guide me?

Hi Jeevan,

Great thanks for your question.

Actually, we offer WebRTC to WebRTC streaming path to get the maximum performance, namely ultra-low latency around 0.5 seconds.
All other protocols add relatively high lag to streaming latency, even RTMP.
But you can try RTMP to WebRTC streaming path without any special setting.
You can use OBS for RTMP side, and Ant Media Server will send it to its embedded WebRTC player.
As you may know, RTMP is going downhill, especially for the viewer side.
HLS and MP4 outputs are selectable in Settings.
Hope to understand and answer your questions correctly.

Have a nice Live Video Streaming experience with Ant Media Server :-)
