José Domingues da Fonseca
Dear, first of all, congratulations on the product - I had been looking for something for weeks that they could manage so perfectly! however, I'm having a problem trying to view the output file in HLS format. I explain: I'm transmitting with the OBS. I follow the specifications described in this post > https://antmedia.io/how-to-reduce-latency-for-rtmp-real-time-messaging-protocol-to-hls-http-live-streaming/ the OBS is able to transmit the video and the system identifies that the transmission is being received I can also see the sample video on the control panel (the streaming appears correctly and with a delay of less than 9 seconds - amazing!). the problem is in streaming into HLS. unfortunately, I can not make this setting work. I followed the guidelines in these posts: https://github.com/ant-media/Ant-Media-Server/wiki/Play-Live-and-VoD-Streams-and-Previews and https://github.com/ant-media/Ant-Media-Server/wiki/Publish-with-a-Desktop-Software---Open-Broadcaster-Software however, I can not view the video in HLS. I've tried it on my site video player and other HLS video players available on the web. it did not work at all. Can you help me and correct this setup? I'm using LIVE APP with the "Enable MP4 Recording" and "Enable HLS Live Streaming" functions enabled. Another important issue: Can we install an SSL certificate on the instance to encrypt the connections (preferably the Let's Encrypt)? tks
0 Selim Emre
Hi Jose, Let me understand the case 1- For instance you're broadcasting to rtmp://SERVER/LiveApp/test456 right? 2- You can play the stream on the web panel while it is live? 3- What url do you try and expect to watch the stream and what happened? It should be something like http://SERVER:5080/LiveApp/play.html?name=test456 Looking forward to hearing from you soon Regards
