Question

Hi, i have the EE of antmedia.
I want to know the hardware characteristics of the server that i purchased because i have this problem, when i use conference.html, when more then 8 people enter in the room I have the error "highResourceUsage".

So the first question is in which mode i can modify the video resolution, in a way to use a lower resolution?

The second question is in which way i can clean the system memory that i see from my dashboard?

The third question is if I need more hw resource for my server, how can i buy more hw?

The last question is about Android SDK. In the SDK there is two app, a sample app and the app inside the framework, that you can see in this link https://antmedia.io/how-to-create-webrtc-websocket-connection-in-android/. but the problem is that the manifest is empty. In which way can  i build this app on my device?

Best Regard.

Elia

Hi Elia.pimpy,

So the first question is in which mode i can modify the video resolution, in a way to use a lower resolution?

if you are using webrtc and index.html to publish your stream you can change mediaConstraints in that to lower the resolution:

The second question is in which way i can clean the system memory that i see from my dashboard?
You can close some streams or you can close other applications.

The third question is if I need more hw resource for my server, how can i buy more hw?
That is dependent what kind of server you have, if you have your own dedicated server you just need to buy more RAM or change your CPU.
If you use AWS Azure or other cloud providers you need to change your instance type with a better one

That blog post is an old blog post. In theWebRTC SDK there is already a sample project which works out of box if you change the URLS. You just need to adapt the Activities in there to your needs.

Best Regards,
Can
