Is RAM or CPU more important, and which needs more out of edge and origin?

Question

I am in the process of figuring out what my initial hardware configuration will be. I will have one edge and one origin server and my application will be WebRTC broadcasting one to many. To start with, there will only be one person broadcasting at any one time (plus overlap).

For similar costs, I can have more RAM with less CPU, or more CPU with less RAM. For this configuration, which is more important on each server for optimum performance, and what sort of ratio of power between edge and origin should I consider, noting that the origin server will only ever have 1 person connected at a time (plus overlap, so sometimes 2 people connected)? Does the origin server need to have as much CPU/RAM as the edge server?

Thanks,

Ben

I'm not really well familiarized with AMS yet, but I'd argue you need much more CPU than RAM at the origin, as the encoding/streaming process is CPU intensive and happens on a frame by frame basis. Images don't consume that much RAM. Edge would need high both CPU and RAM as you need to hold more images in the decoding and serving process.
