Version update fail

Question

I've attempted to update from version 1.6.1 to 1.6.2 and it failed to update using
sudo ./install_ant-media-server.sh antserver2.ziptrue

So, I then tried a fresh install with the antserver2.zip (which is the zip file download of 1.6.2), which also failed with the message

"mv: cannot stat 'ant-media-server': No such file or directory
There is a problem in installing the ant media server. Please send the log of this console to contact@antmedia.io"

You told me in another post that the log file is located in  /usr/local/antmedia/log/   but I've looked and there is no longer any antmedia folder. So, it's failed halfway through the update, then also the install.

Any guidance on how to proceed would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Let me understand your problem,

-You told me in another post that the log file is located in  /usr/local/antmedia/log/   but I've looked and there is no longer any antmedia folder.

is there any folder in  /usr/local/ antmedia or antmedia-backup-2019-... etc ?
Could you please check sudo service antmedia status ?

Where is the Install folder?
Install folder mean, where you under install files the folder.

Could you please check there's an ant-media-server folder name in your install folder ?

Looking forwarding to hearing from you soon.

Selim.
