AMS STREAMS CRASHING

Question

Hello

I have 13 streams on a AMS VM and everyday they stop completely. I have to go into the /streams directory and delete all the transport streams then reboot. To get them working again. I used to only have to do this every other month or so Now it is everyday. I’m on enterprise edition 2.0

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi David,

Have a good day.

Could you please share your Ant Media Server logs? It would great to understand your issue. Maybe we have already solved it in the new version(v2.3).

You can find logs in /usr/local/antmedia/log folder.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards,
Selim

Thank you all for the replies.

All good suggestions.  I had this issue when we first spun up the VMS and had IT (owners of the VMs) add more space and that was working fine.  We have added two more streams @3MBs but not sure that would make much difference.  I am going to move them to a new AMS instance just in case.  Occasionally when I monitor the .ts transport stream files a couple are GB in size!  All our streaming profiles (coming from Kiloview E1-NDI) are no larger than 3Mb.

Apologies for not uploading the logs.  oops!

Best
