Antmedia 2.3 AWS Cloud Formation SSL problem

Question

Hi there,

I have installed Antmedia 2.3 on AWS using the tutorial described here:

https://antmedia.io/ant-media-server-cloudformation-installation/

But the ssl certificate for the https connection on port 5443 does not work.

I have created the certificate following this tutorial:

https://antmedia.io/ssl-from-aws-certificate-manager-for-domain-name/

but for some reason the DNS validation did not work and the certificate was pending.

So I have tried email validation of the certificate and this worked, was able to create the cloud formation stack but still the https and ssl certificate problem is still there.

The certificate error in the browser when trying to accees the https url is:

Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

Two questions here:

1. If the certificate from aws certificate manager was validated successfully via email and not by DNS, this can affect the ssl on the antmedia server?

2. Is there another way to solve this?

(I have looked at this solution

       https://github.com/ant-media/Ant-Media-Server/issues/2675

but since I m using version 2.3 the changes mentioned in this post are already

       present)

Thank you in advance,

Adrian

Hi,

You made the SSL configuration incorrectly or you didn’t choose the correct certificate on the ELB side.

 1. This doesn’t affect. AWS just makes verification.
 2. If you send an email to support@antmedia.io by mentioning me, I’m able to check it for you.

Regards.
