Hi Michele,

Hope you are doing good.

Let me know your use case.

How do you publish your stream? Is adaptive streaming enabled?
Also which Instance type are you using? I mean what is your local hardware configuration?

Regards,

Yash

Hi Yash,

I was using the very simple stream you have as a test at https://<my domain>:5443/WebRTCAppEE/index.html, I kept that stream active for a few hours.
Adaptive streaming is NOT enabled, IDK if it matters, but we have both VP8 & VP9 enabled.

I can't really answer about the hardware configuration as I don't know it and don't even know how to retrieve that, but we just created a Digital Ocean server with very basic configuration and didn't change anything that wasn't required during the installation of the server itself.

Attachment has our enabled settings

Dear Michele,

Could you please let me know that which instance type you have selected on Digital Ocean. I suggest you to use at least 4 CPU core instance with 8GB RAM as it can handle 200 viewers and 50 broadcasts at a time. The best choice is CPU-Optimized Dedicated CPU machines because we will do lots of video encoding in a media server.

Regards,

Yash

We have been facing the same issue for the past two weeks and even after updating to a version suggested, problem persists.

I'm restarting the antmedia service every night so that doesn't happen

Hi All,

We have investigated this issue deeply with our tech team. We have detected that this issue was related to OpenSSL. We are also supporting JSSE SSL. Please follow below guidance:

sudo service antmedia stop

sudo rm -rf /usr/local/antmedia/lib/native*/libtcnative-1.so* #Or move any other location

sudo service antmedia restart

You should see "2021-07-11 10:58:09,146 [https-jsse-nio2-0.0.0.0-5443-exec-3] INFO  i.a.e.s.WebSocketLocalHandler - Web Socket opened" logs when you opened any websocket connection.

Best Regards,

Selim
